This Privacy Policy describes how Players Project LLC collects, uses, and protects information from visitors to players-project.com and clients who use our mentorship services.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
From website visitors: name and email (via contact/waitlist forms), cookie and usage data.
From clients and families: athlete name, DOB, grad year, parent contact info, athletic and academic information, health and injury history, and goal assessments.
From payments: billing info processed by Stripe — we do not store card numbers.
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
To deliver mentorship services, build IDPs, process payments, schedule sessions, and respond to inquiries. We do not sell or share your information with third parties for marketing.
3. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY (COPPA)
We work with athletes under 18 and comply with COPPA. We do not collect information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. All intake forms for athletes under 18 require a parent or guardian to complete. Parents may review, update, or request deletion of their child's data at any time by contacting us.
4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
We use Squarespace (hosting), Stripe (payments), Calendly (scheduling), Google Forms/Drive (intake and documents), and WhatsApp Business (communication). Each has its own privacy policy.
5. COOKIES
Our site uses cookies to improve experience and analyze traffic. Manage preferences via our cookie banner or your browser settings.
6. DATA SECURITY
Client files are stored in password-protected Google Drive folders. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and never stored on our servers.
7. DATA RETENTION
We retain client information for the duration of the relationship and up to 3 years after it ends. You may request deletion at any time.
8. YOUR RIGHTS
You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us.
